Chinatown Analysis Presentation Reflection
Our research question was okay, but it was a little too generic and broad. I think we had good examples to build off of and explain. I think we expressed some good characteristics in this film that relate to Film Noir as a whole. We used some key terms, but they weren't related to "filmic language," which really missed the point of the presentation. This was definitely our weak spot because we didn't go past the literary meanings of the examples.
I think we had a good design of the presentation because we represented the darkness of the film and showed pictures corresponding with the examples, but we didn't go far enough with the bullet points. We should really improve on being able to demonstrate film aspects of Film Noir movies. I need clarification on Femme Fatale because I remember the term, but not its meaning. I think I understand the aspects of Film Noir fairly well, but we didn't address them enough in the presentation. Chinatown was fairly easy to follow, and I can see how it would be Film Noir because of the characteristics of fragility and betrayal.

i thought your presentation was pretty good, could have gone a little more in detail but overall, it was alright. Femme Fatale is like the viscousness of the female actors or the "deadliness" of a woman in a film
